Social co-creation is a shift in thinking

from the industrial age mindset to people engagement mindset. It is a phenomenon that emphasizes the generation and ongoing realization of mutual company-customer value. Social co-creation differs from the traditional concept of the past, where the company is active but the consumer is passive. It views markets as interactive forums for companies and customers to share, combine and renew each other's resources, and capabilities to create mutual benefit.
